Gov. Bago assigns portfolios to six new Niger commissioners
Niger State Governor, Umar Bago, has assigned portfolios to the newly six appointed commissioners in the state.
The special adviser on digital communication and media strategy, Abdullberqy Ebbo, in a post on Tuesday, said the commissioners were recently screened and confirmed by the state lawmakers.
The portfolios are as follows Prof. Isah Adamu, ministry of rural development; Mohammed Danladi Garba, ministry of technical & vocational education; Lucky Barau, ministry of tourism and culture; Emmanuel Alamu, ministry of special duties while Isah Wakili is the commissioner for the ministry of sports & youth development, Saidu Shuaibu Kaboji would assumed duties at the ministry of commerce.
He congratulated the new commissioners.
The Peoples Gazette reported that Mr Bago approved six commissioners-designate and the appointment of other political appointees in the state earlier this month.
