Gov. Mutfwang cheers Super Eagles ahead of AFCON finals

Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau has cheered up the Super Eagles of Nigeria ahead of the finals for the 2024 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) slated for this evening.
This is contained in a statement by Gyang Bere, the director of press and public affairs (DOPPA) to the governor, on Sunday in Jos.
The Super Eagles will be playing the finals against the host country, Cote d’Ivoire.
The governor, who interacted with the players via Zoom, expressed unwavering confidence in the team’s remarkable performance, believing they would return home with the trophy.
“We are immensely proud of you as you head into the finals, and our prayers are with you.
”Your remarkable efforts in Cote d’Ivoire have brought Nigerians together, and we, in Plateau, are honoured to be part of this historic journey,” the governor stated.
