Gov. Oborevwori congratulates ex-Delta governor James Ibori on 68 birthday

Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated a former governor of the state James Ibori on his 68th birthday, describing him as a dynamic leader whose contributions remain significant.

In a congratulatory message on Tuesday in Asaba by his chief press secretary, Festus Ahon, the governor praised Mr Ibori’s leadership between 1999 and 2007, noting his vision, resilience, and commitment to service.

Mr Oborevwori described the former governor as a great motivator and inspirational leader who laid foundations for the state’s development, adding that his impact continued to be appreciated across the state.

“On behalf of the government and people of Delta, I congratulate our dynamic and inspirational leader, Chief James Ibori, the former governor of Delta, on his 68th birth anniversary,” he said.

He prayed for God’s continued blessings, good health, and long life as the former governor celebrates his birthday on August 4.

The governor extended warm wishes to Mr Ibori as he marked the milestone celebration with family and associates.

“May your special day be filled with joy and pleasant memories. Congratulations,” Mr Oborevwori said.
