Gov. Okpebholo leads dignitaries to thanksgiving service in honour of deputy’s late mother

The service, organised in honour of the matriarch of the Idahosa family, took place at the Living Faith Church, Sapele Road, Benin City.

Edo State Governor Monday Okpebholo on Sunday led a host of dignitaries to a special thanksgiving service held in honour of the late Esther Idahosa, mother of his Deputy, Dennis Idahosa.

The service, organised in honour of the late matriarch of the Idahosa family, took place at the Living Faith Church, Sapele Road, Benin City.

The service was attended by former Edo State governor, Lucky Igbinedion, former deputy governor; Lucky Imasuen, the All Progressives Congress’ officials, lawmakers, commissioners, and other dignitaries.

The cleric, Emmanuel Ebiwoye, preached from Mark 4:11 on faith and reliance on God, and prayers were offered for the Idahosa family and for peace and progress in Edo.

The event was part of activities honouring the memory of the late Mrs Idahosa.

She was described as a devoted mother and woman of virtue who died at 95.
