Gov Okpebholo mourns Dan Orbih

Mr Orbih, an influential politician and a former chairman of the governing council of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, died on Monday.

Governor Monday Okpebholo of Edo has expressed condolences to the Orbih family on the loss of their son, Dan Orbih.

Mr Orbih, an influential politician and a former chairman of the governing council of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, died on Monday.

The governor described him as a bridge-builder and a voice of reason.

Mr Okpebholo described Mr Orbih’s death as a significant loss to his family, Edo, and the university community.

According to him, Mr Orbih was an astute political leader and, in his service as AAU governing council chairman, demonstrated unwavering commitment to advancing the university’s developmental agenda.

He played an instrumental role in strengthening ties between the state government and the institution.

The governor prayed that the Almighty God would grant the family, friends, and colleagues the fortitude to bear this loss.

He maintained that Mr Orbih’s legacy of service would continue to inspire generations of students and educators in Edo.
