Gov Radda speaks from hospital after car crash in Katsina

Governor Dikko Radda has thanked Nigerians for their support following his involvement in a car crash on the Daura-Katsina road on Sunday.

The governor, in a video shared by his wife, Fatima Radda, on Monday, stated that he was currently undergoing treatment.

“We had an accident, but we are recovering. We thank God. We are here (at the hospital). They are taking care of us so that we can recover. We appreciate all your prayers,” Mr Radda said.

On Sunday, the governor was involved in what was described as a “minor” car crash along the Daura-Katsina Road while on official duties in Katsina.

Several Nigerians, including the North-West Governors’ Forum, extended their heartfelt wishes to the governor, wishing him a swift recovery.
