Gov Sani condemns multiple killings in Naridon village attack

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna has condemned the killing of persons following an attack on Naridon village in Kamaru Ward of Kauru Local Government Area.
The village is a border community between Kaduna State and Ganawuri in Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State.
A statement on Monday by Ahmed Maiyaki, the state’s commissioner for information, said the attack resulted in loss of lives and destruction of property.
He said the government strongly condemned the attack and directed security agencies to intensify operations to apprehend the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
Mr Sani extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and prayed for the peaceful repose of the souls of the deceased and the speedy recovery of those injured.
He also directed the Kaduna State Emergency Management Agency (KADSEMA) to provide immediate relief and humanitarian support to affected families.
The statement added that his government reaffirmed its commitment to work with the Plateau State Government, security agencies, traditional institutions and other stakeholders to strengthen security cooperation, restore lasting peace and protect lives and property along the Kaduna–Plateau border.
