Gov Yusuf approves new appointments, promotions to strengthen governance

Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf has approved appointments and promotions to strengthen governance and service delivery across key sectors.
This was contained in a statement by his spokesperson, Sanusi Bature, on Wednesday in Kano.
He said the appointments included Abdulkadir Kankarofi as special adviser on humanitarian affairs and Aisha Tamburawa as special adviser on positive propaganda.
Also appointed were Mukhtar Yusuf as managing director of the Water Resources Engineering and Construction Agency (WRECA) and Mukhtar Maisudan as the executive secretary of the Kano State Scholarship Board.
Others were Abba Kankarofi as the managing director of the Kano Road and Maintenance Agency (KARMA) and Musayyib Ungoggo as managing director of the Kano Zoological Garden.
Mr Yusuf charged the appointees to demonstrate dedication, transparency, and commitment to the people of Kano State, in line with the objectives of the Kano First Agenda.
