Gov. Yusuf commiserates with Shettima over stepmother’s death

Gov. Abba Yusuf of Kano State has commiserated with the Vice President, Kashim Shettima, over the death of his stepmother, Hauwa Abba Kormi.
This is contained in a statement issued by the governor’s director-general, media and publicity, Bature Dawakin Tofa, in Kano on Saturday.
The governor also commiserated with other family members of the deceased, the people and the government of Borno over the loss.
Mr Yusuf prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the soul of the deceased Jannatul Firdaus.
“On behalf of the government of Kano, I share our most sincere condolences to you and the extended family on the death of our beloved mother
“May Almighty Allah, the most exalted, grant her gentle soul eternal rest, give you the courage and the fortitude to bear her loss, and may Jannatul Firdausi be her final abode.”
