Gov. Yusuf lauds NSCDC for protecting critical national assets

Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State has commended the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) for its pivotal role in protecting critical national assets and enhancing community safety in the state.
Mr Yusuf spoke while receiving the newly posted commandant of the corps for Kano State, Bala Bawa-Bodinga, at the government house in Kano.
This is contained in a statement by the command’s spokesperson, Sunusi Dawakin-Tofa, in Kano on Sunday.
Mr Yusuf stressed that Kano State would continue to partner with all security agencies to ensure the state’s overall stability and progress.
The governor welcomed the new commandant and assured him of the state government’s full cooperation and support to ensure the success of his assignment.
He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to maintaining peace, safeguarding lives and property, and promoting effective synergy among security agencies in Kano.
The commandant pledged unwavering loyalty and cooperation with the Kano State government towards ensuring the protection of lives and property across the state.
“I will work closely with the Kano State governor and will not allow any group or external forces to sway me from this commitment,” Mr Bodinga assured.
He further reiterated his dedication to upholding professionalism and fostering collaboration among security agencies to bolster peace and stability in Kano State.
