Gov Yusuf urges Kano residents to back Tinubu’s 2027 re-election

Governor Abba Yusuf has called on residents to continue supporting President Bola Tinubu, saying he deserves strong backing for his commitment to the state and the country.
This was disclosed in a statement on Wednesday.
Mr Yusuf made the call in Kano while presenting the certificate of return to the newly elected member for Dawakin Kudu/Warawa federal constituency, Shu’aibu Rabi’u Nagogo.
According to the governor, Kano has reason to stand firmly behind Mr Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
He said the working relationship between the Kano government and the federal government had yielded positive results, and he commended Mr Tinubu for supporting critical infrastructure and development projects in the state.
Mr Yusuf described Mr Tinubu as a leader committed to national unity and progress and urged political leaders and stakeholders to remain united and strengthen the partnership between Kano and Abuja.
He congratulated Mr Nagogo on his victory and expressed confidence that he would effectively represent the Dawakin Kudu and Warawa Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives.
Mr Yusuf reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to working with the federal government to advance policies and programmes to improve citizens’ lives.
