Governor Ayedatiwa reappoints four sacked cabinet members, five others
Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has forwarded the names of six commissioner-nominees to the State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
The nominees are Omowumi Isaac, Olukayode A. Ajulo, Razaq Obe, Emmanuel Igbassan, Akinwumi Sowore, and Oseni Oyeniyi.
Peoples Gazette reported that the names of the nominees came barely 24 hours after Mr Aiyedatiwa hinted at his plans to return some of the sacked members of the State Executive Council (SEC) to the government.
The governor also appointed three special advisers.
They include Olugbenga Omole, special adviser on information and strategy; Olamide Falana, special adviser on gender affairs; and Alabi Johnson, special adviser on energy.
The appointment of the three new aides was contained in a statement by the governor’s spokesman, Ebenezer Adeniyan, on Friday in Akure.
Those returning to the cabinet are Messrs Obe, Igbasan, Sowore and Falana.
