The governor’s felicitation was conveyed in a statement on Wednesday.

He said the erstwhile Nigerian leader deserved to be celebrated for his sacrifices toward nation-building and unity.

Mr Oborevwori noted that since leaving office, Mr Jonathan had rendered invaluable service to the nation and the African continent.

He lauded him for his remarkable accomplishments in international pro-peace mediations across Africa.

“On behalf of my family, the government, and people of Delta State, I congratulate our great leader and highly respected elder statesman, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, on the occasion of his 67th birth anniversary,” he said.
