Three persons were reportedly killed at the Uselu-Nahor community in the Uhunmwonde local government area of Edo on Wednesday following a leadership tussle.

Police spokesman SP Katongs Bello confirmed the killing but said he had yet to get further details.

It was gathered that the gunmen attacked the victims, one of whom was the chief security officer of the community at their duty post at Ahor Kara.

The deceased were collecting parking fees from vehicles when the gunmen opened fire on them, killing the three on the spot.

Sources attributed the fatal shooting to the lingering leadership tussle in the community.
