Haaland to Manchester City deal to be done in few hours

Erling Haaland has informed Borussia Dortmund that he will leave the club for Manchester City at the end of the season.
The news comes after the highly rated forward completed his medical test as a new Manchester City player today.
City CEO Ferran Soriano informed Dortmund boss Hans-Joachim Watzke last week that Manchester City were ready to activate the striker’s $79 million release clause.
Multiple reports in Germany state that Manchester City has informed the Borussia Dortmund board that they will activate the release clause in a few hours.
City has been leading the rescue to sign the in form striker for weeks. His release clause now means Borussia Dortmund are about to lose the young sensation.
Haaland, 21, has scored 85 goals in 88 matches for Dortmund since joining from RB Salzburg in January 2020. Dortmund’s last game of the season is on Saturday against Hertha Berlin, and will be played at home.
