Hilda Baci set to break Guinness World Record

A multi-talented TV producer, actress, and foodpreneur, Hilda Effiong Bassey popularly known as Hilda Baci is well on her way to breaking the Guinness World Record of longest cooking time by an individual.
Ms Hilda officially announced this in an Instagram post on April 2nd where she said she was going to make her five-year-long dream a reality, stating that she will cook for four days and four nights to break the 87 hours, 45 minutes, set by Chef Lata London in Rewa, India in 2019.
The event was scheduled to begin on April 28th but had to be moved to May 11th at Amore Gardens, Lekki, Lagos to cater to the needs and requirements of the extra people who registered to be in attendance.
On Sunday, she replied to a tweet where Guinness World Records wrote “today is a good day to break a world record”, with “I’m on it.”
Nigerians have shown support by betting on Ms Hilda who isn’t giving up while putting in over 63 hours of work.
