How facts rubbish many lies of Adaobi Alagwu

In what has become one of the most sensational cases of paternity fraud in recent times, Abuja-based lawyer Adaobi Alagwu continues to deploy falsehoods and social media theatrics in a desperate bid to pin a child on Nigerian businessman Tunde Ayeni.
Despite Mr Ayeni’s consistent and firm denial, Alagwu and her legal team have embarked on a smear campaign filled with contradictions, deceit, and outright fabrications.
An in-depth investigation by journalists into Ms Alagwu’s background suggests a pattern of attachment to older men, likely stemming from childhood trauma. Sources close to the family revealed she was allegedly molested by her stepfather, which might explain her fixation on “daddy figures.”

This unsettling detail adds a psychological dimension to her relentless pursuit of Mr Ayeni, a man who has repeatedly and publicly disassociated himself from her.
One of the most laughable attempts at validation is her display of a picture taken four years ago at her 30th birthday party with Mr Ayeni. A photograph taken at a social event carries absolutely no weight, especially considering that shortly after, Mr Ayeni publicly denounced her.
The real question is: what value does such a photo hold when the man in question has repeatedly rejected any association with her and her child? How desperate must a 34-year-old woman be to use a relic from her past as evidence of a non-existent bond?
Even more revealing is Ms Alagwu’s personal history, which follows an eerily similar path to her mother’s. Her mother, infamously, was pregnant with another man’s child while still married to Ms Alagwu’s father, an act that led to her being chased out of her marital home. This explains the stark contrast between Alagwu’s lighter complexion and her sister’s much darker skin tone.

The pattern of deceit appears to run in the family, and now Ms Alagwu is attempting to repeat history by claiming that Mr Ayeni fathered a child that is clearly not his.
It is well known that Ms Alagwu’s complexion has attracted numerous suitors, but she made a grave miscalculation in thinking that Mr Ayeni would be the ultimate fall guy. Her plan to secure wealth and status by tying herself to a prominent family name has spectacularly backfired.
If she truly had no interest in Mr Ayeni’s name, she would have abandoned her shameless pursuit long ago. Instead, she persists, knowing full well that without his recognition, her daughter will never carry the prestige and social standing she so desperately craves. Her recent move of posting a dowry refund video only further exposes her delusion.
What exactly is she trying to prove? The footage clearly shows that Mr Ayeni formally demanded and received a refund, which is nothing but an open and official rejection of any supposed ties. A man who has consistently and publicly denounced a woman cannot, by any stretch of imagination, be forced into accepting a role he has outright and consistently refused.
If Ms Alagwu and her family truly possessed any pedigree, the Ayeni name would hold no significance to them. Instead, she clings to it as a lifeline, unwilling to accept the fact that a name does not define worth—especially when it is one that has been repeatedly and emphatically denied to her.
Indisputable Facts from Investigation
● Ayeni never denied a past misadventure with Alagwu – He acknowledges that he once had an involvement with her, a grave mistake he regrets and has since severed all ties with her.
● She has been conspicuously absent from court – Despite being summoned to appear on two separate occasions, she has refused to show up. Meanwhile, Ayeni has been present, even stepping into the witness box to answer questions.
● If there is to be another DNA test, her multiple lovers must also submit for testing – Investigations reveal she was romantically involved with multiple men during the period in question. Why is Ayeni the sole target?
● Tunde Ayeni is legally married to Dr Biola Ayeni under the act and no matter what any home wrecker may attempt to claim, this fact will not change.
● Her claim of being Ayeni’s wife is absurd – In her own lawyers’ press statement, they confirmed that her dowry was refunded, severing any possible connection. So, on what basis does she still claim to be his wife?
● Her legal team has committed perjury – In their statement, they falsely claimed that “any claim that our client’s pregnancy occurred before the marriage is false. The child was conceived after the marriage.” However, evidence shows that her dowry was paid when she was mid way through her pregnancy (which is a taboo in Igbo land) which is quite obvious from the photos she released herself.
● The claim that Ayeni was present at the birth and cut the umbilical cord is false – Sources confirm that he only visited several days after much persuasion from Adaobi’s sister
● In her personal correspondence to Tunde Ayeni, Adaobi continues to beg and appeal to his good conscience .
● Dragging Mrs. Ayeni into this only reinforces Adaobi’s disgrace – Her team claims that Ayeni’s wife accompanied him for the DNA test as proof of acceptance, but this only highlights the humiliation Alagwu has suffered. If a man needs his wife present to verify a child’s legitimacy, what further disgrace could one endure?
Beyond these facts, the question remains: If Ms Alagwu is as confident in her claims as she wants the public to believe, why has she consistently avoided the courtroom? What is she afraid of?
The fundamentals remain unchanged: Mr Ayeni does not want her. No matter how much she and her clique of husband-snatchers attempt to manipulate the narrative, their smear campaign will not erase the undeniable truth.
At the end of the day, no amount of theatrics, fake DNA tests, or press statements will rewrite history. A man should be the one to flaunt a woman, not the other way around. No matter how desperately Ms Alagwu tries to prove that she was once part of Mr Ayeni’s life, the stain of his rejection and public denouncement of her child will always overshadow her delusions. While her apologists continue their shameless defence, the reality remains: She is a liar. She has lost.
