How I tried to settle Baba Ijesha, Princess’ feud: Iya Rainbow

Veteran Nollywood actress Idowu Philips popularly known as Iya Rainbow recently revealed she pleaded with alleged rape victim’s mother Damilola Adekoya aka Princess for days to drop Baba Ijesha’s case but was rejected.
In a recent interview with BBC, the 78-years-old Yoruba actress revealed she pleaded with Princess for four consecutive days, urging her to drop the case but was rebuffed.
The actress further explained she did everything humanly possible to convince Princess to prevent the matter from escalating.
Baba ijesha was arrested months ago for defiling a minor but was recently granted bail as the case pends in court.
Beyond justice for the victim and conviction of the guilty, the veteran actress hopes and prays the Yoruba movie industry rise and settle their disputes amicably regardless.
Iya Rainbow also prays Baba Ijesha and Princess find common ground to reconcile their differences.
