I will sack corrupt FBI agents, Trump vows

U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday vowed to sack some Federal Bureau of Investigation officials because they are “corrupt.”
Mr Trump stated this on Friday at a press conference he held alongside Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba in the White House.
Asked if he would fire the FBI agents who investigated the January 6 rioters’ case, Mr Trump said though he would not sack FBI agents who investigated the January 6 rioters, he would fire the corrupt ones.
Mr Trump said, “I’ll fire some of them (FBI agents) because they were corrupt. There is no doubt about that. I got to know about that business. I know a lot about their world that we have some corrupt agents. And those people will be done quickly and surgically.’’
Mr Trump also said Elon Musk-led Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) would audit and review spending of the Pentagon, U.S. Department of Defense and Education.
