Ibadan men arrested, arraigned for stealing motorcycle

The police on Monday dragged two men before the Iyaganku Magistrates’ Court in Ibadan for stealing a motorcycle.
The defendants are Oyewole Akinola, 30, and Daniel Olasunkanmi, 30. The duo were standing trial on charges of conspiracy and stealing. They, each, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The prosecutor, Olagoke Adegbenro, told the court that the defendants committed the offences on March 19, at about 5.00 a.m., at Odo-Ona Kekere, Ibadan.
Mr Adegbenro alleged that the defendants conspired to steal a TVS motorcycle valued at N140,000 belonging to Babatunde Osho.
The magistrate, Olasinmibo Sanusi, granted the defendants bail in the sum of N50,000 each and one surety each in like sum.
She adjourned the case until May 4 for a hearing.
