The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC) has appealed to its numerous customers in Sango Ota in Ogun over the prevailing power outage in the community.

Busolami Tunwase, spokesman for IBEDC, disclosed this in an interview in Ota on Friday.

Ms Tinware blamed the poor electricity supply in the community on gas shortage by generating companies.

She urged the company’s teeming customers in Sango-Ota to exercise patience as the company is working with stakeholders in the electricity value chain to restore stable power supply.

“We are working with relevant stakeholders in the electricity value chain on a sustainable resolution.

“In addition, we sincerely apologise for the inconveniences caused by the low power supply across our franchise area,” she said.

Ms Tunwase also expressed the company’s appreciation to the customers for their understanding and assured them that the problem would be resolved as soon as possible.
