IBEDC says load restriction will affect power supply in Ogun communities

The Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company has announced that some parts of Ogun State may experience reduced power supply.
In a statement on Monday, the distribution company attributed the development to load restriction on the Ota/Papa/Abeokuta 132kV network affecting available power to its 33kV feeders serving the region.
The areas affected include Ayetoro, Imeko, Ilaro, Odeda, Owode-Egba, Kobape, Bisodun, Omu, Arigbabuwo, Siun, Asipa, Orile-Imo, New Makun City, Pentagon Estate, Lufuwape, Lotto, Olowotedo, Orimerunmu, Ashimolowo, Adesan, Pakuro, Ogunrun, Maba, Imedu-Nla, Ofada Town, Ofada Road, Orunkole, Mobile, OPIC Road, Mosadomi, Asa-Bala, Mayegun and Chris Embassy Area.
Others include Tollgate, Eledi, Ijagba, Itele, Lafenwa, Olosun, Akeja, Abebi, Osi, Okede, Okesuna Estate, Iyana Iyesi, Egan, Ijaba, Ifo, Papalanto, Iyana Ilogbo, Iju, Oju Ore, Iloye, Adelamo, Iyana Cele, Olomu, Owode Ijako, Ogungbade, Ibogun, Ajegunle, Ilepa, Ijako Onihale, Abeokuta and environs.
