ICPC uncovers another fake agency operating in Tinubu’s govt

The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has uncovered another fake agency operating in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume.
Chairman of the anti-graft agency, Musa Aliyu, disclosed this to journalists on Friday shortly after a closed-door meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the State House.
Mr Aliyu said the fake agency, “National Brands Development and Made in Nigeria Special Project Office,” was discovered during ongoing investigations into the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council, headed by Adeniyi Adeyemi.
According to the ICPC chairman, Mr Tinubu ordered the arrest of George Buchi Nwabueze, who is linked to the fake agency and the suspension of three permanent secretaries, M.S. Danjuma, Nadungu Gagare a a and Richard P. Pheelangwah, over the latest discovery of the fake agency.
