Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State says Igbos should vote All Progressives Congress presidential candidate Bola Tinubu to continue with the legacy of President Muhammadu Buhari.

Such legacy, Mr Uzodimma reckons, is the construction of the Second Niger Bridge by the Buhari regime.

“Senator Bola Tinubu is the presidential candidate of the APC, the party in power. From 1970 when the civil war ended, the Igbos asked for the Second Niger Bridge, government after government came with promises that was not fulfilled.

“The last Christmas was greeted with jubilation; Igbos coming from outside the South-East using the Second Niger Bridge. That is even enough for the whole Igbos to vote for Buhari’s legacy to continue,” Mr Uzodimma said.

The Imo governor, who is the coordinator for Mr Tinubu’s campaign in the South-East, made this statement on Channels Television’s Politics Today Thursday night.

Mr Tinubu, 70, is be up in contest for Presidency of African most populous country against Peter Obi of Labour Party and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party.
