Nigerian TV host and on-air personality, IK Osakioduwa, suggests that the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), introduce a new category for plastic surgeons to acknowledge their impact in the industry.

“I will like to recommend one more category to the producers of the AMVCA, if I may be so bold, I will like to recommend that next year we have a category for cosmetics surgeons who worked so hard to make many of these actors beautiful,” he boldly suggested.

Marveled by the glamour and glitz exhibited by his female colleagues in the entertainment industry during the AMVCA which he hosted alongside South African model Zozibini Tunzi, the TV host suggested that plastic surgeons responsible for trendy cosmetic endowments should also be acknowledged and awarded.

Following the high demand for cosmetic surgery recently, the AMVCA host compared its cost to way back and urged the audience to applaud plastic surgeons while he shadily called out Toke Makinwa to validate his claims.

“Do you know how expensive cosmetic surgery was? it use to be so expensive, I am not talking about the cheap ones we do in Nigeria now N1,500, N2,000, like back in the day that was like 40,000 dollars, it was that expensive, Toke am I lying ?,” he jokingly asked.

Toke Makinwa shared with the public how she went under the knife (Brazilia butt lift) to enhance her body in 2018 and has not been a stranger to public opinion as a topic of artificially enhanced bodies.

In 2019, Nigerian comedian, Bovi, also mocked Toke’s ‘new body’ during his comedy show.

The likes of Blessing CEO, Tonto Dike and many more, have also publicly shared their cosmetics body enhancement journey with the public.

The 9th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards(AMVCA) was held on May 20, at the Eko Hotels, Lagos State.
