I’ll ensure Anambra gets share of national cake: Deputy Speaker

Dr Paschal Agbodike, Deputy Speaker, Anambra House of Assembly, has promised his constituents effective representation at the National Assembly.
Mr Agbodike, representing Ihiala Constituency ll at the state assembly and recently elected for Ihiala Federal Constituency, made the promise while speaking to newsmen in Awka on Monday.
The member-elect said he would ensure that Anambra got its share of the national cake.
He promised to prioritise and support programmes on security as well as attract employment opportunities for youths in the state.
“I am going to the House of Representatives to influence and support policies to tackle insecurity in Ihiala Federal Constituency and the South East as a whole.
“I will ensure I get youths in my constituency and state gainfully employed, and ensure that Ihiala Federal Constituency, Anambra and the Southeast get their own share of the national cake,” he said.
The deputy speaker commended Gov. Chukwuma Soludo for the on-going road construction and other infrastructure development.
According to him, the infrastructure has given the state a face-lift.
He urged the other arms of government and residents to continue to support Soludo’s administration as he intensified efforts to make the state safe, liveable and prosperous.
