I’m leaving government to become university lecturer, house husband: Fayemi

Kayode Fayemi says he plans to teach in a university as well as perform the duties of a house husband when he leaves office as governor of Ekiti State.
“I want to be a house husband (laughs),” Mr Fayemi said. “I will also be spending some time in the universities. One or two of them have asked me to be a Professor of Practice on Governance and Security Issues. But the immediate task now is to recharge my batteries.”
Mr Fayemi, whose administration elapsed this weekend, disclosed this in an interview with Vanguard on Sunday, when asked what he aims to do once he leaves office.
He also hinted at writing books out of his experience as governor and would join his party, the All Progressives Congress, to campaign for its presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
As he bows out of office this weekend, Mr Fayemi’s party man, Biodun Oyebanji, will assume duty as governor of Ekiti State in the new week.
