The speaker Imo House of Assembly, Kennedy Ibeh, has commended Governor Hope Uzodinma for his tackling of the state’s security challenges, despite paucity of fund.

Mr Ibeh gave the commendation on Saturday at the 2022 Armed Forces Remembrance Day celebration in Imo, stating that the governor has shown capacity in protecting lives of residents of the state.

“The governor has shown that he is a true chief security officer of the state by rising up to tackle the security issues.

“In doing this, the governor has immensely supported security agencies in their operations in Imo and has proven to be the father of all,” Mr Ibeh said.

The speaker also commended Mr Uzodimma for supporting families of slain security officers in the state “both morally and financially.”
