Inauguration: Otti unveils committee for Jumaat, church services

A Jumaat and an interdenominational church services are some of the activities planned towards the inauguration of Abia Governor-elect Alex Otti and his deputy on May 29.
Mr Otti, on Friday, inaugurated a 75-man inauguration committee in his country home Nvosi, Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area.
The committee is headed by the Director-General of Alex Otti Campaign Council, Obioma Acho, per a statement released on Sunday by Kazie Uko, the Head, Media and Publicity Committee.
The governor and his deputy would be inaugurated at the Umuahia Township Stadium. A reception at the International Conference Centre (ICC), Ogurube Layout, Umuahia, would then follow.
Mr Uko said the programme would be rounded off with Jumaat and Interdenominational Church services at ICC on dates to be announced later.
Mr Otti had on April 14 inaugurated a 100-member Transition Council to fashion out a roadmap for his administration’s development agenda for the state.
