Insecurity: TB Joshua’s church prays for divine intervention in Nigeria

Members of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) on Sunday took out time to pray for divine intervention in Nigeria, seeking end to insecurity and other challenges.
SCOAN members offered the prayers during the church’s 2025 thanksgiving service at its Ikotun headquarters, Lagos State.
The annual thanksgiving service attended by people within and outside Nigeria, began with songs of praise in various languages including Swahili, French, English and Ashanti.
In her prayer, Pastor Evelyn Joshua, the Leader of the church and Wife of the Founder, Prophet T.B. Joshua, said that God deserved praises for preserving humanity.
She prayed God to tackle Nigeria’s challenges and give the citizens joy and fulfilment.
Mrs Joshua said that SCOAN continued to sustain its founder’s vision through God’s help.
“I am happy to give account of stewardship not to man but to God for His grace upon the church. We have watched God lift people from nowhere to higher places, heal the sick and turn downtrodden to royalty. That is why He deserves our thanksgiving. God of His servant, Prophet TB Joshua, will make our country, Nigeria, triumphant and uphold its people.
“God knows our hearts are full of gratitude for His steadfastness in the country, and we are presenting this uniquely made country and its people before Him for His deliverance from challenges,” she said.
A worshipper from Uganda, Dr Patrick Kpashagsi, said that thanksgiving would open doors for much grace.
Mr Kpashagsi said that the church had undergone transformation since four years ago when it began the annual thanksgiving.
“Prophet TB Joshua laid the foundation of the church on divine direction, and Pastor Evelyn Joshua has continued to function in that direction.
“We are here to show gratitude required of us for the gift of Jesus Christ to humanity; therefore, push every protocol aside, lay yourself bare before the creator in gratitude for His benevolence,” he said.
In his sermon, Stephen Nbasi from Tanzania called for submission to Jesus Christ and a life of faith and godliness.
