IWD: Lagos APC hails contributions, dedication of female members

The All Progressives Congress in Lagos State has congratulated its female members on the 2025 commemoration of the International Women’s Day.
The state party Chairman, Cornelius Ojelabi, in a statement on Saturday, lauded the contributions, dedication, and unwavering support of women in the party.
He stated, “Today, we recognise and applaud the tireless efforts of our female members, leaders, and supporters who have been instrumental in shaping the APC into a formidable force.’’
He added that the selflessness, perseverance, and commitment of party women to the APC ideals had not gone unnoticed.
The chairman said, “The party is proud to acknowledge the pivotal role women play in the party’s growth and success. You are the pillars that hold us strong, the driving force behind our achievements, and the beacons of hope for future generations. As we celebrate International Women’s Day, we reaffirm our commitment to empowering women, promoting gender equality, and creating opportunities for women to take on leadership roles within our party and society at large.”
He expressed the party’s deepest gratitude for their unwavering dedication, hard work, and unrelenting passion.”
Mr Ojelabi said, “You are the embodiment of the APC’s values, and we are honoured to have you as part of our family.”.
