Over nine million Jehovah’s Witnesses worldwide will launch a global initiative in September to offer a free interactive Bible study programme.

The campaign is designed to highlight the practical advice found in the scriptures, according to a statement by the religious organisation.

“The Bible’s timeless teachings have helped people throughout the centuries.

It has saved marriages, healed the brokenhearted and taught citizens how to be contributing members of society,” said Olusegun Eroyemi, spokesperson for Jehovah’s Witnesses in Nigeria.

“We’ve personally seen these benefits in our lives, and we are excited to share them with our neighbours.

“Throughout the campaign, the Witnesses said they would distribute copies of ‘Enjoy Life Forever!’, a “concise”, three-lesson brochure that teaches Bible principles through various methods, including “colourful artwork, links to online videos, and discussion questions”.

The campaign will “culminate with a special discourse in all congregations of Jehovah’s Witnesses around the world themed ‘How Can the Bible Help You?'”This Bible-based lecture will further explain how to obtain a happy and meaningful life. It is free and open to the public,” said the statement.
