Thousands of Muslims in Kazaure and Jigawa have observed the Eid-el-Kabir celebration in grand style and pray for peace in the country.

The worshippers observed the prayer in a peaceful atmosphere at Danmakada, Gadar Amalale and Kofar Gabas Eid grounds.

Women adorned in colourful attire with henna decorations, and men dressed in traditional outfits participated in the ceremony.

Children excitedly joined the celebrations, sharing pleasantries with family and friends.

Some of the residents expressed gratitude to Allah for giving them the opportunity to witness the Eid celebration in good health.

A resident, Haruna Ilu said he was grateful to God for witnessing the occasion and prayed for peace and good health.

“Thank God, I am grateful to witness another Eid, and I pray we get more chances to witness more in good health,” he said.

Also, Faisal Yunusa said he visited Kazaure to celebrate the festival with family and loved ones.

“I came to my hometown to witness such remarkable Eid celebrations once more,” he said.

Similarly, a housewife, Balaaraba Rabi’u, expressed joy over the occasion and prayed for peace and prosperity in the country.
