The Jigawa Pilgrims Welfare Board has urged intending pilgrims for the 2025 Hajj to submit their international passports.

Director-general of the board, Ahmad Labbo, made the call in a statement on Tuesday.

Mr Labbo urged all intending pilgrims who have not yet submitted their passports to do so promptly to avoid delays in visa processing.

“The Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board is fully prepared for the 2025 Hajj visa processing,” Mr Labbo said.

The director-general assured us that all arrangements for a smooth visa application process had been finalised. He stated that the grouping of pilgrims will continue as in previous years to ensure efficiency.

He further urged all intending pilgrims to submit their passports immediately to avoid delays.

According to him, the board will work with zonal officers to ensure strict adherence to Saudi regulations.

Mr Labbo reiterated the board’s commitment to ensuring all registered pilgrims complete documentation without issues.

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria has allocated 1,518 seats to Jigawa for the 2025 Hajj exercise.
