Jigawa: Wangara community hails Namadi over road project

The Wangara community in the Dutse LGA of Jigawa has praised Governor Umar Namadi for awarding a road project.
The commendation was made in a statement on Monday by the community’s spokesperson, Abbas Rufai.
Mr Rufai said that when completed, the road would connect four villages and open up the area for economic activities.
“We write to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Jigawa government for awarding the contract for the long-awaited road project in our communities that connect several villages, including Dundubus, Yanjaji, Wangara and Gidan Maigaru in the Dutse LGA.
“This project will greatly benefit our people by improving the quality of their lives and promoting economic opportunities,” Mr Rufai said.
According to Mr Rufai, the road project would not only facilitate easier access to the benefiting communities but also open up new avenues for trade, commerce and agricultural productivity.
“For over 43 years, our communities have struggled with poor road infrastructure that hindered economic growth and access to basic services for improved quality of life.
“The news of the road project came to us as a big relief and renewed our hope.
“We want to extend our gratitude to the governor and assure our total support and collaboration towards the successful execution of this project and other laudable government programmes,” Mr Rufai said.
