Just give my husband second term; I want better Nigeria so I can enjoy our old age: Remi Tinubu
First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, on Wednesday, urged Nigerians to pray and vote for her husband, President Bola Tinubu, saying she wants a better Nigeria where she can enjoy her old age.
Mrs Tinubu made this call while speaking to Catholic mothers in Imo State on Wednesday.
“Make una pray for Mr President abeg, but we go work for una and Nigeria will be better because I want to enjoy Nigeria in old age,” Mrs Tinubu said. “I’m working for my old age; that’s why we are doing all we are doing right now.”
Urging Nigerians to support her husband’s re-election bid, Mrs Tinubu said, “By the grace of God, we will all finish our eight years, because they will say I want to be there forever. There is no third term. Just give us a second term, we are good.”
She added, “We are not third term, fourth term or eighth term, we are good, because we need to rest. Because you see, from the beginning we started working, we hit the ground running and we are not stopping.”
