Nigerian Army deploys troops across Lagos Island, Ladipo
Personnel of the Nigerian Army have been deployed to maintain security in Lagos Island, Ladipo, and other areas of the nation’s commercial hub.
The development comes as youths loyal to the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, continue targeting Igbo traders in the areas.
No casualties were reported in the attacks, and the intervention of security forces could help quell any further outbreak.
