The chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria in the Chikun and Kajuru LGA, Aminu Ayuka, has commended Governor Uba Sani for his inclusive and unifying leadership in Kaduna.

Mr Ayuka, in a statement on Wednesday, thanked the governor for his commitment to promoting peace, unity, and development in Southern Kaduna and the entire state, irrespective of religious or ethnic differences.

He described Mr Sani as a leader with a genuine passion for harmony and progress, noting that his administration’s peace-building initiatives have continued to strengthen coexistence among the diverse communities in Kaduna State.

“Governor Uba Sani’s leadership style has brought renewed hope to our people. He continues to demonstrate fairness, inclusiveness, and dedication to peace and development,” Mr Ayuka said.

The clergyman also appealed to the international community to support Nigeria in addressing the persistent challenges of terrorism, banditry, and kidnapping that have affected citizens across the country.

He urged the U.S. and other world powers to partner with Nigeria in ways that promote peace, security, and economic growth, rather than narratives that fuel fear or division.

Responding to President Donald Trump’s Christian genocide allegation, Mr Ayuka said, “There is no genocide against Christians in Nigeria. The insecurity we face affects everyone: Christians, Muslims, and even those without religious affiliation. What Nigeria needs now is genuine support and solidarity from the international community.

“Nigerians are one people, united by hope, faith, and a shared dream. By standing together, we can overcome our challenges and create a better future for all,” he said.
