Kaduna: New GOC reassures troops of welfare, sound administration

The soldiers were urged to uphold the principles of force protection, shun unprofessional practices, and adhere to the ethics of military professionalism.

The General Officer Commanding 1 Division and Commander, Sector 1 Joint Task Force North-West Operation FANSAN YAMMA Maj.-Gen. Abubakar Wase has reassured troops of his resolve to ensure their welfare and sound administration in the field.

The new GOC stated this during his visit to the Joint Task Force North-West Operation Fansan Yamma, Sub-Sector 5 troops at the Forward Operating Base Kachia on Tuesday.

He urged them to uphold the principles of force protection, shun unprofessional practices, and adhere to the ethics of military professionalism.

The GOC was also at the Nigerian Navy School of Armament Technology and the Maritime component of Operation FANSAN YAMMA, where he solicited cooperation and synergy in achieving success in the ongoing operation.

Earlier in a remark, the commandant, Aminu Chikaji, highlighted the school’s role in training Nigerian Navy personnel in Joint Operations, including Fasan Yamma and Fushin Kada, among others.
