Kaduna police boss promises adequate security during Easter

The Commissioner of Police in Kaduna State, CP Rabi’u Muhammad, has assured residents of adequate security towards a peaceful Easter celebration across the state.
The commissioner gave the assurance in a statement issued by the command’s public relations officer, DSP Mansir Hassan, on Saturday in Kaduna.
Mr Muhammad said the command had put in place comprehensive security measures across the state, particularly at churches, recreational centres, highways and other strategic locations.
He said tactical teams, intelligence operatives and patrol units had been deployed to safeguard lives and property before, during and after the festivities.
The commissioner urged residents to remain security conscious, law-abiding and vigilant, and to promptly report any suspicious activities or persons to the nearest police station or relevant security agency.
He further assured the public of the command’s readiness to respond swiftly to any security concerns, reiterating that the safety of citizens remained a top priority.
Mr Muhammad wished all Christian faithful a peaceful, joyful and hitch-free Easter celebration.
