The Police Command in Kaduna says it will begin physical and credential screening of applicant police constables of the state’s indigene from February 1 to 20 at the Police College, Kaduna.

The command’s Public Relations Officer, Mohammed Jalige, made the disclosure in a statement issued on Saturday in Kaduna.

“The Command wishes to inform the good people of Kaduna state, especially those who applied for the 2021 recruitment into the Nigeria Police Force, to report at the Police officers’ mess Independence Way, Kaduna, from Feb 1 – 20, for a physical and credentials’ screening exercise.

“Shortlisted applicants are to report at the venue in white T-shirts, white shorts and white canvas shoes with their national identity card and slip, original and duplicate copies of their credentials and print outs of their application profile page,” Mr Jalige said. 

Other requirements include a duly completed guarantor’s form, two passport photographs with white background and two white flat office files.

The spokesperson said the commissioner of police in the state had reiterated that the recruitment exercise was free of charge, and warned officers and the applicants engaging in corrupt practices. 

Mr Jalige urged the applicants to report any complaints on phone number 0810004567.

Hee explained that the exercise would adhere strictly to all COVID -19 protocols, and as such all candidates must, therefore, put on their face masks.

“Candidates are to come to the venue for the screening on the dates indicated against their local governments of origin, as scheduled.

He said on February 1, Birnin Gwari, Chukun, Giwa, would feature and February 2, would be the turn of Igabi, Ikara and Jaba local government areas.

Also on February 3, would be for Jama’a, Kachia, Kaduna north, while  Kaduna south, Kajuru and Kaura local government areas are scheduled for February 4.

Kauru, Kagarko, Kubau, would be on February 5, and on February 7, Kudan, Lere and Makarfi would take their turn as Sabon Gari, Sanga and Soba will be screened on February 8.

On February 9, Zangon Kataf and Zaria local governments would undergo their own screening.
