Kano APC stakeholders back newly elected state executives

The All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders in Kano have affirmed the newly elected state executive committee in the state.
This is contained in a statement issued by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Dawakin -Tofa, on Wednesday in Kano.
Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano, deputy Senate president, Senator Barau Jibrin, and the former national chairman of the APC, Abdullahi Ganduje, congratulated the new executives.
They described their emergence as a major step towards strengthening unity and stability within the party in the State.
They commended party members for conducting a peaceful and successful congress, noting that the outcome reflects the collective will of APC supporters across the state.
Some of the stakeholders like Sule Garo, Tijjani Gwarzo, and Abba Kabir Bichi, and other party leaders, pledged their full support to the new state executive committee.
The stakeholders emphasised the need for reconciliation, cooperation and collective responsibility in order to reposition the party for future electoral success in Kano State.
They urged the newly elected executives to carry all members along and ensure fairness, transparency and inclusiveness in the conduct of party affairs.
According to them, the unity displayed during the affirmation process sends a strong signal that the APC in Kano State is now more focused and determined to work as one family.
The stakeholders further called on party members at all levels to rally behind the new leadership for the progress and growth of the party.
