Kano approves Saturday as open, visiting days for boarding schools

Kano State Ministry of Education has approved Saturday, November 11 as the visiting date for public and private boarding primary and post-primary schools in the state.
This is contained in a statement by the Director, Public Enlightenment of the ministry, Balarabe Abdullahi, on behalf of the Commissioner for Education, Umar Doguwa, on Thursday in Kano.
While wishing parents and guardians of pupils and students a successful visiting day, the commissioner advised them on total compliance with rules and regulations governing the visiting procedures.
He also expressed his appreciation for the usual support and cooperation given to the ministry by the parents.
According to Abdullahi, the time for the visit is between 9am and 5pm on the stipulated date.
