The Kano State Fire Service says it rescued four people and property worth N1 billion in March.

The director of the Kano State Fire Service, Sani Anas, revealed this in a statement on Wednesday.

The statement said, “Five people lost their lives to fire outbreaks, road accidents, and incidents involving ponds, while property worth N1 billion was saved, and property worth N355 million was destroyed by fire during the period.

“The service responded to seven emergency calls and three false alarms from residents of the state.”
