The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced N7 million as the final hajj fare for intending pilgrims for the 2027 hajj.

The Kano State Pilgrims Welfare Board has announced N7 million as the final hajj fare for intending pilgrims for the 2027 hajj.

‎The announcement was made by the director-general of the board, Abubakar Ibrahim-Matawalle, in a statement on Tuesday.

According to the board, the registration deadline for the pilgrimage remains August 25, 2026.

“All intending pilgrims who are yet to submit their international passports should do so before the deadline. Adherence to the deadline is necessary to facilitate proper documentation and ensure smooth preparations for the pilgrimage,” the board said.

‎The director-general advised intending pilgrims and other stakeholders to take note of the announcement and comply within the stipulated deadline.

The board, he said, was committed to providing efficient services to intending pilgrims and ensuring a smooth and successful hajj operation.
