Kano: Police arrest suspected criminals, recover weapons in ‘Yan Daba’ clashes

The police command in Kano has arrested three suspects and recovered weapons following a clash between thug groups known as ‘Yan Daba’ in Kabara and Magashi quarters in Kano City.
One person was killed in the fight, and two were wounded.
The command disclosed this in a statement on Thursday.
It said police officers responded swiftly during the clash, which occurred on Wednesday, to arrest three suspects.
It said the police commissioner, Ibrahim Bakori, has directed an investigation to bring perpetrators to justice.
He reassured the public of the command’s commitment to protecting lives and property.
