Katsina: Gov Radda promises to assist Mani LG water shortage

Governor Dikko Radda says Mani local government remains a priority to his administration and pledged to give prompt attention to the water shortage in communities within the area.
Mr Radda gave the assurance on Thursday in Mani at the palace of the district head of Mani, Umar Babani-Isah, the Durbin-Katsina, in continuation of the local tour.
“Our administration is committed to ensuring that no community is left behind. Mani remains a priority, and your concerns, particularly on water supply, will receive prompt attention,” he stated.
Mr Radda stressed that a lot of achievements have been recorded by the administration in education, healthcare, agriculture, infrastructure, and youth empowerment.
The governor also revealed that the federal government has approved a medical facility in Muduru to boost healthcare services delivery.
Earlier, the district head commended the governor for fulfilling campaign promises and for executing development projects for socio-economic development of people across the area and the state in general.
He appealed for the rehabilitation of the Mani-Dutsi and the Duwan-Doro roads, to boost economic and commercial activities in the area.
The traditional ruler also raised concerns over water shortages in some communities and urged the governor to intervene.
He further thanked Mr Radda for establishing the Ministry of Livestock Development, which he described as a visionary institution and the first of its kind in Nigeria.
