Katsina: Governor nominates two commissioners, makes fresh appointments
Governor Dikko Radda has nominated Muhammad Sani-Ahmad and Mannir Ayuba-Sullubawa as commissioners, pending confirmation by the Katsina State House of Assembly.
This was disclosed in a statement on Monday.
The governor also appointed Suleiman Namadi as managing director of the Katsina State Erosion and Watershed Management Agency.
The governor approved the appointment of several senior special assistants and special assistants.
Jamila Salman, Ibrahim Danjuma and Muddasir Mati were appointed as senior special assistants. Musa Dankawu and Alhaji Abdulfatah Kafur were appointed as special assistants.
The governor congratulated the appointees and expressed confidence in their capacity to drive progress across their respective portfolios.
Mr Radda directed them to align with his administration’s ‘Building Your Future’ agenda and fulfil promises made to the people.
He urged the appointees to bring their experience, integrity and passion to their roles as the state advances its development trajectory.
“I expect you to hit the ground running. This appointment is a call to service. Work with focus, deliver results and make the people proud,” he said.
