Kebbi governor’s special adviser faces expulsion over Government House snake: APC

The All Progressives Congress has suspended Kabir Sani-Giant, special adviser to Governor Nasir Idris, on power and politics with immediate effect.
A statement signed by the party’s secretary in Kebbi, Sa’idu Muhammad-Kimba, announced the suspension on Sunday.
The statement alleged that on February 8, 2025, Mr Sani-Giant brought a snake to Government House, intimidating dignitaries and officials.
The APC alleged that the conduct could embarrass and discredit the APC.
It added that Mr Sani-Giant’s actions violated APC’s constitution.
According to the statement, the party deemed his behaviour offensive and embarrassing.
“His suspension remains in place pending further investigation and possible disciplinary action, which could lead to expulsion if repeated,” APC said.
