Mohammed Omadefu, member representing Keana constituency at the Nasarawa House of Assembly, has urged the residents of the state  to expose criminal elements.

This, he said, was to tackle the incessant kidnappings and other criminal activities across the state.

Mr Omadefu, the chairman of the House Committee on Environment, made the call on Monday while hosting the Eggon Women Forum, Keana LGA, at his office in Lafia.

The lawmaker stated that he had provided the much-needed dividends of democracy to the people of the Keana constituency over the years and pledged to do more.

He said, “I want to use this medium to urge you and other residents to expose criminal elements in your domains by giving vital information to security agencies. This will enable the security operatives to tackle incessant kidnappings and other criminal activities in our state.

”Please let’s help our security agencies with useful information that will tackle kidnapping and other  criminal activities in the state.”

Mr Omadefu appreciated them for the visit and pledged better days ahead.

He added, ”I have provided water, employment, education, infrastructure, and empowerment, among others, to various communities of Keana LGA. By God’s grace, I will continue to provide the much-needed dividends of democracy to the people of Keana LGA,” he said.

The lawmaker assured them of all-inclusive and purposeful leadership.

“I am doing my best to ensure that Kwarra ward is connected to other communities and the world,” he said.

Mr Omadefu urged the women and other people of Keana to continue praying and supporting him to succeed. He  assured them of continued sound and quality representation at the state legislature. The lawmaker also urged them to shun religion and ethnic politics.

Lydia Akawu, the chairwoman of the forum, said that the visit was to appreciate the lawmaker for the good things he is doing.

“We are here to appreciate you for the good work you have been doing for the people of Keana LGA. You gave us transformer, boreholes, women, and youth empowerment, among  others,” she said.

Ms Akawu assured him of their loyalty and support at all times.
